On Monday, a school shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison left three people dead, including a teacher, a student and the 15-year old shooter, who was also a student at the school. Six other victims, including five students and a teacher, were injured. Here & Now will report on the continuing investigation into the shooting and the effects it has left in the school and Dane County community as people continue to offer support to all of the families affected.

Anchor Frederica Freyberg will speak with Erin L. Neill, a trauma specialist with Heart Counseling in Madison, to discuss the impact violence like school shootings can have on survivors and the community at large.

Trish Kilpin, executive director of the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Office of School Safety, will also discuss her office's work responding to crises like this week's shooting, an increase in tips being submitted about potential violence in schools and future funding needs for the office to continue its work.

Also this week, Zac Schultz will interview Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, about his legislative outlook for the new year.
